As an apprentice, you're expected to demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn. Assessment methods vary by programme but can include practical tasks, written assignments, observations, and knowledge tests.

You may have to take an exam, it depends on the apprenticeship you are following. All apprenticeships have an End Point Assessment process to go through once you have completed your training. This can take the form of observations, professional discussion, exams, presentation, projects and portfolios.

Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive an industry-recognised qualification which can be a foundation for further training or a stepping stone into a permenant position in the industry.

Yes, after completing an intermediate (Level 2) or advanced (Level 3) apprenticeship, you can progress to higher or degree-level apprenticeships, depending on your performance and aspirations.
